Summer Season 2025

To all members and friends of the Ocean Grove Auditorium Choir,

The summer season is almost upon us and we will be gathering for our first rehearsal on Friday June 6 at 7 pm. Please note the new time. Our Friday schedules will be different this season - we will be rehearsing our Sunday anthems from 7:00 - 7:30 pm each Friday, with rehearsal for the Choir Festival/Sacred Masterworks immediately following at 7:30 pm. Tuesday rehearsals will continue to begin at 7:30 pm and Sunday morning rehearsals continue to be at 9 am.

An exciting summer of singing is planned with several new opportunities to participate, including a Messiah sing and leading hymn singing for a live-stream National Camp Meeting event. As it is a busy summer, you will find attached a Welcome letter and a separate Calendar. These provide many details regarding services and rehearsals and should be helpful to get everyone to the right place at the right time! Hard copies of these documents will also be available to all singers attending in-person rehearsals.

In addition to the Choir events listed in the attached documents, please consult the OGCMA program book and website for other events featuring our Choir community members and plan to attend. These events include Organ Recitals with Dr. Gordon Turk (free), Songs on a Summer Afternoon series with our wonderful Soloists (free), Handel's Messiah (singer registration information on OGCMA website), Summer Stars series coordinated by Dr. Turk (ticketed events), and Salute to the Silver Screen Classical Pops Concert with Dr. Jason Tramm (ticketed event). Please come out and support these artists, who are also our friends and colleagues.

Anticipating a wonderful summer of singing together and looking forward to seeing all of you beginning on June 6.

Sacred Masterworks Concert

The Masterworks Sacred Concert will be held in the Auditorium on Sunday August 24, 2025.
